Every year, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) publishes official opening and closing ranks for each institute, branch, category, gender, and quota across multiple counselling rounds. This predictor aggregates the final closing ranksfrom JoSAA 2026 and JoSAA 2025 to build a historical baseline.

To estimate 2026 cutoffs, we compare your rank against these baselines with a±5% buffer. Seats where your rank comfortably clears the closing rank are markedHigh chance; seats within the buffer are markedClose to cutoff.

Results are sorted: high-chance seats first, home-state seats surfaced prominently, then by closing rank. The raw data is bundled directly with the page — no API calls, no tracking.
